This fantastically pendent trilobite, about 2,5” inches long, from Devonian Moorish, keeps facet visible in both eyes.
Trilobites were a very diverse group of extinct marine arthropods. They first appeared in the fossil record in the early Cambrian period (521 million years ago) and became extinct during the Permian mass extinction (250 million years ago).
